LEFT, thru Rapid City (2 flashers, cover your eyes) to

West (from Kalkaska Intersection) to the Rapid City turn-off, turn

ALDEN:
- After going by the Alden Bar, continue thru downtown, and instead of curving left with the road at the Methodist Church (tall white steeple) which is at the end of downtown Alden, go straight up the hill (You are now on Helena Rd. ) The township hall is on your right about 1/2 mile, just past the fire hall.
~ Approaching Alden : From the NORTH (Eastport, Bellaire, Mancelona)
- When approaching Alden, while still on Alden Hwy/E Torch Lake Dr, instead of curving with the road to the right to go through downtown, turn left in front of the Methodist Church (tall white steeple). You are now on Helena Rd. The township hall is on your right about 1/2 mile, just past the fire hall.
